MiuTab saves your pet's progress, coins, skins, notes, calendar notes, drawings, timer settings and preferences with Chrome's local storage on your computer. This data stays on your device unless you turn on MiuTab ID backup (section 4). Uninstalling the extension deletes it.
To show local weather, MiuTab asks Chrome for your approximate location and sends the latitude and longitude to Open-Meteo, a free weather service. We don't store your location. If you don't allow location, MiuTab uses a default city.
The search box uses Chrome's built-in search API, so your query goes to your default search engine. MiuTab doesn't read, store or send your searches anywhere else.
If you sign in with MiuTab ID, we use your email address to send you a one-time login code. If you back up, a copy of your pet's progress is stored on our backend (Google Apps Script with Google Sheets) so you can restore it on another computer. You can sign out at any time and ask us to delete your account and backup.
If you pair with a friend, the drawings you send and your display name travel through our server to that one person. Your pair is identified by random IDs, not by name or email. Each drawing is deleted from our server as soon as it is delivered. You can unpair at any time, which also deletes any drawings that were not delivered yet.
Purchases in USD are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment details and sales tax. We never see your card number. When you activate a license key, our backend asks Polar whether the key is valid and receives the purchase status and a partly hidden email. Purchases in Vietnam (VND) are processed by payOS; we keep the email you enter so you can restore Pro later.
In the Vietnamese version, MiuTab can show product suggestions that link to Shopee or Lazada with affiliate codes. MiuTab may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Nothing is sent until you click a link. You can turn suggestions off in Settings. The English version doesn't show these suggestions.
MiuTab is intended for users aged 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we'll delete it.
The miutab-vn.com website uses the Google tag for Google Ads conversion measurement, which may set cookies in your browser. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps basic traffic statistics. The extension itself contains none of these.
You can delete all local data by uninstalling MiuTab. To access or delete data held on our server (MiuTab ID, backups, Miu Pair), email [email protected]. We'll reply within 7 days. If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
